"Lord of Quinuapata"

It is said that in years of 1855, that people found a Jesus’s imagen crucified, in the country. Tied in a three; place that now is known “quinuapata”.

THE PEOPLE moved the image of the lord Jesus at the “Santa Teresa “temple by order of the priest Alvarado; the image went taken in procession in company of much people with songs and prayers.

Already moved the image to the “Santa Teresa “temple and put in one of the altars of the temple, the people decorated at the lord Jesus with flowers and candles for starting to the next day with the solemn ninth.

The next day, when the people went to the “Santa Teresa” temple for starting with the mass for the lord.

When, the people entered into “Santa Teresa” temple, the image didn’t start in the temple, the people surprised themselves and they started with the search of the image. A man that passed for the country said: _ the image of the lord Jesus is in the same place where we found it.

Them by order of the priest Idoyaga that he was engineer, the people made a chapel for the image of lord Jesus in the place than it when research.

Now, the “lord of quinuapata” is the most adored in Peru, well those image is the most visited for the foreign people and people of all Peru.
